Hi friends! In this video I share my unboxing for the Scotch laminator along with a “how to” and some tips as well. You will also see the issue I had with this machine but you’ll see all of that in the video. It’s longer than I wanted but again I explain all of that in the beginning. Thank you so much for your detailed review. I am really glad you showed what happened and I love how you reacted. It is OK to be upset and verbalize it. If you were being in your "I'm a nice person" head and trying to be all positive and squelch your true feelings…that would have been unhealthy for you. We must start owning our feelings in all their glory. That is survival. That is how we survived beingi chased by bears. When you turn and ROWWRR at the bear and show your claws you are telling your physiology "I am worth surviving". (Not a habitual way to live but when someone cheats you you need to call them on it). So, lol…that that bit of wisdom. And thanks again for the review. <3

I bought this laminator at Walmart in 2019 for $16 and I’ve never had any trouble with it. Thanks for the video. It’s good to know what might go wrong.

always takes cautions even if its new, just because is new you cant assume it find, why because she its shipped they probably handle them wrong and end yp breaking and when walmart receives shipment they are not careful

The zoomyo 9 inch hot n cold laminator is really great too, just got it it’s also a starter kit for $23.00 off amazon! It’s lightweight and comes with 20 of the large size laminating sheets, medium sized and business card ones! Very pleasantly surprised

I bought this exact same one at Walmart last week for $16.88. So far I have only used it for foiling. It works great to apply the Deco foil.

Having bought 2 expensive things (My First) Combi/Microwave (£300) and a Bridge Camera (£400?) I decided to laminate a single double sided A5 for the Combi showing the buttons and switches on one side and the instructions for cooking with the Combi on the back as that is new to me and requires the use of a couple of buttons. It sits under the unit nicely. The camera I found for £250 Great I thought, When it arrived I found that it was made for the Japanese market as there were no English instructions. I know the camera itself has Language including English but I do not read Japanese, I found an English version On-line so was able to sort that out. I now have 2 options, A/ Buy the full instructions printed into a 3 Inch X 4 Inch X 250 page? Or B/ Buy a 50 Page A5 short instructions (£40) or Download it for $5 and print off and Laminate myself? As I also want to try a slightly bigger letter size

Thanks for the heads up. I just bought one.. and thanks to your video.. I will run a plain piece of copier paper thru first to make sure there is nothing jamming it up inside. Also note – it SMOKES when you first start it up. I have a small office and it freaked me out to see that much smoke.. but it quickly went away when I opened the window. Thanks for posting.

I may be that one person you mentioned in your wonderful, informative video! I decided a few days ago that I wanted to get some things laminated and took the plunge to buy a machine and sheets. Then the search began to find a video that showed some tips for using it – and here it was! Thank you for giving so much detail and little tips; it gave me the confidence I needed and I successfully laminated my first document!
